Position Summary: We are seeking a self-motivated Civil Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Newberg, Oregon. The ideal candidate is passionate about civil engineering, eager to work on diverse projects, and thrives in a collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, design, funding assistance, cost estimation, bidding, and construction management of various civil engineering projects, including water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation, and private development.
• Develop comprehensive studies, reports, design drawings, and technical specifications.
• Monitor and manage project scope, budget, and schedule to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and other team members to execute project tasks effectively.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
• Conduct on-site project inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
•Participate in business development activities to expand HBH’s project portfolio and market presence.

Required Qualifications:
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Oregon or the ability to obtain licensure within six months.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience in planning, design, and/or construction management for municipal and/or public/private development projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for providing exceptional client service and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Washington Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• Oregon Water Right Examiner (WRE) certification.
• Experience working with Oregon and/or Washington municipalities and regulatory agencies.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as WaterCAD, PCSWMM, EPANET, XPSWMM, GIS, HydroCAD, or Hydrology Studio/Hydraflow.
• Background in construction management and inspection.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: Competitive, DOE ($90,000 - $130,000 annually).
