Funding and Permitting

Funding and Permitting

Funding Assistance

HBH staff have assisted dozens of communities throughout the state in obtaining funding for infrastructure projects. An essential part of this task is providing technical support and expertise at One-Stop meetings with funding agencies, evaluating potential funding packages, and making recommendations.  The Engineers at HBH have extensive experience and knowledge of State and Federal funding programs.  We have attended numerous One-Stop funding meetings and have an excellent record in submitting top ranking funding applications

The engineers on our team have a high success rate in assisting communities in obtaining and maintaining compliance with project funding. Because of this, we routinely provide designs that adhere to project funding requirements.

Permitting Assistance

We have an excellent working relationship with State and Federal regulatory agencies. We work with clients to decipher the legal terminology and help them understand what they need to keep their water rights and permits active.

Our work often requires coordination with regulatory agencies, typically in conjunction with compliancy reviews and permitting requirements.  Majority of these interactions are in relation to wastewater and water projects, right-of-way easements, environmental overview, or coordinating city or district improvements as part of a larger project administered by a State, Federal or county agency. These agencies are where most of the contract laws originate and where policies are determined. We have also helped arrange and determine fair terms for intergovernmental agreements under these regulations.
